"Den dag Pade døde" (eng: "The day that Pade died")
----- I recommend listening with good headphones or speakers -----

Now is January 2019. Else Marie Pade [ælsə ma:ʁiə paðə] passed away on January 18th 2016, so it has already been three years. You are holding a tape in your hand which is called “Den Dag Pade Døde” (The day on which Pade died). I recorded everything one-take. I was working in my small studio. It was one of those day where you know that you have to play music. Some days you are like… you just need to get into this FFFHH, this bobble. I just had this out-of-control urge for creating something. Right now I’m sitting in my studio again, it’s freaking cold in January. I was playing my synthesizer, like this analog Roland amplified through a pretty crappy guitar amp, which makes these strange errors… or I don’t know if I can call it errors. You know, the sounds of the synthesizer are quite powerful and when you send out saw tooth and square tooth waves out and run everything on this weird kind of limit, sometimes the sound “pops” through like WRRR and all the time balancing on this curious border where strange things happen.

The energy was simply fantastic that day. What you’ll hear is completely uncut. I have mastered it a bit, but I didn’t cut or do any editing. So I hope that you’d be able to sense the atmosphere or the energy which kind-of saturated the air that day. I didn’t realize it until a couple of days later, that in that moment, as I was making this piece, at the same time Else Marie Pade passed away.
